Emma's First Week

Emma has had quite a first few days at home. We left the hospital on Friday Nov. 28th and came home to a house filled with grandparents, aunt and uncle all wanting to hold and kiss little Emma. On Sat Emma enjoyed her first Thanksgiving dinner - a little late but nonetheless it was a fantastic spread put together by grandma - and she throughly enjoyed the turkey!

Monday Emma, grandma and I went out shopping - her first shopping trip of many! We had lunch at Ruby Tuesday's and then went to pick out some pink girlie outfits for Emma. Everywhere Emma went people just stopped to look at her and comment on how cute she is. Literally women would stop in the mall to check out this little girl. Emma also went shopping on Tuesday - we still needed to pick up a few more things - a winter coat - which we found - of course in pink!

Emma had her first bath at home on Tuesday - which she did not enjoy. She apparently does not enjoy being undressed - which for those of you who know - is the opposite of her mommy at a young age - apparently I was quite the nudist! Emma turned 1 week old on Tuesday Dec 2nd - and we took some pictures of her to mark the occasion.

Of course we just think she is the most beautiful baby ever! Look at that perfect c-section baby head! I think she saw how she was going to have to enter the world and said "No way! I am not going to squish up this perfect face." So instead she turned herself around!

Soon we will have some videos posted of Emma - including her entrance into the world, her first bath at the hospital and her first bath at home. Daddy is working on changing the file type so we can share them.
